The Nice Stretch 90 is designed to treat Plantar Fasciitis, the most commonly diagnosed source of heel pain. The primary symptom is pain on the bottom of the heel, usually worse in the morning with a tendency to intensify over time. Night splints offer an established, non-invasive treatment for plantar fasciitis. When combined with a stretching program and anti-inflammatory drugs, a tension night splint (TNS) with a 12-week protocol has a proven success rate. The Stretch X has a supportive internal framework to maintain flexion and a soft, comfortable exterior to make it enjoyable to wear. The simple crisscross tension straps allow for easy adjustment.

The heel bends (not sure if there's cardboard in there or what). It does offer various possibilities with the Velcro straps for adjustment to fit your foot right.

I play racquetball 2 times per week and the pain was getting so bad I could hardly walk the morning after I played. I went to a podiatrist and really was getting no relief from tradtional treatment.

Afer several months I did a couple of things. First I bought some special shoe inserts to help cushion the heal. These have really helped and you can get them here [...]. At the 4 month mark I decided to get a cortizone shot. Then after another month I was about to get a second one and elected to get this splint. I wore it every night and within 10 days the pain had almost completely subsided even though I still continued my weekly routine of racquetball.

Now 3 more weeks and I am completely pain free. So, I am very happy with this product. I rarely can wear it all night long, however for the money, give it a shot and get some sole shoe inserts.

I was to the point that walking was so painful I didn't know what I was going to do. After only the first night I wore this splint, the pain relief was immediate the next morning. Plantar fasciitis takes a long time to heal so I expect to wear this splint for at least 6 months, possibly more. It's very comfortable and I love it. The only reason I did not rate it a 5-star is that my heal slips ever so slightly if I don't position the straps perfectly. Even so, it's not enough that it affects performance of the splint and I highly recommend this product.
